We display various history, archaeology and a lot of natural science or other documents in Furusato Gakugeikan.
Furthermore, you’ll be able to feel the wisdom and thought of old people closer by using a part of the display.

About Furusato Gakugeikan . . .
● Our exhibits feature artifacts and historical items from Kanonji’s past, including agricultural tools and items from daily life.
● Our collection also includes objects unearthed from various ruins and archaeological sites in the Kanonji area.
● We also have an extensive collection of local flora and fauna, as well as insects, natural objects, and astronomical data.
● Several important cultural properties, th tangible and intangible, are also commemorated in various displays.
● Our museum includes two hands-on areas.
Visitors are able to try using old farm implements and other old-fashioned items.
Please contact us ahead of time if you wish to try our hands-on activities.
● We also have a display of wartime rabilia in the hope that peace will prevail in the future.
